Abend-AID and Xpediter come to Group 1’s rescue

Group 1 is a respected provider of postal management applications for mainframe and distributed environments. The company began to experience serious setbacks in its testing and debugging processes when it moved to developing its mainframe applications in C. The tools it had been using proved to be too intrusive, inserting additional code into the applications that meant they had to be recompiled before shipping – threatening to undermine the company’s ability to support changes introduced by the US Postal Service in a timely fashion.
