QACenter top for risk-based testing – Ovum

A recent evaluation of QACenter by analysts Ovum says “Support for risk-based testing makes the test management component the best in its class for test planning.” The evaluation also praises the product family’s features for developer testing of security and error conditions, and its test data creation facility. Comparing vendors in terms of overall strength, Ovum rates Compuware the leader both in terms of the breadth of its offering and the depths of the products.

Compuware’s stress testing makes the grade

Before the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC) could go live with its new admin system, it needed to make sure that the system could cope with several thousand concurrent users. With just four months to go, UNC called in Compuware QA experts, who conducted an exhaustive stress test with tools like Vantage and QACenter. UNC was able to go live on time, with confidence.
