By popular demand, we’re delighted to announce the 2006 Worldwide Uniface User Conference. ‘CU2006 – The Next Generation’ is an unmissable event for anyone interested in Uniface, whether your perspective is a management or a development one.
We’ll have a number of strategic presentations from Uniface users, respected industry figures and our own technical experts. We’ll take a look into the future of application development, kicking off with a keynote address from Rick van der Lans, MD of R20/Consultancy and a well-known analyst, author and academic. Rick will discuss application development trends, with a focus on the impact of Service-Oriented Architecture.
Later, Massimo Pezzini, VP and distinguished analyst from Gartner, will join us to lead two discussions on Enterprise Application Platform Suites (E-APS). During his first session, Massimo will review the concept of E-APS and discuss how these products will evolve to support emerging technologies and increasingly demanding requirements. For his second session, Massimo will analyse E-APS architecture and discuss the benefits and drawbacks of designing, deploying, managing and maintaining composite SOA-based applications on these integrated suites rather than on best-of-breed, piecemeal platforms.
You will also find in-depth technical sessions and hands-on activities. Whether you’re a prospective user or a seasoned expert, you’re bound to benefit from the tips, techniques and product demonstrations on offer. We’ll also be offering attendees an early opportunity to see and try out Uniface 9.1, to be launched at this event.
The conference takes place in Strasbourg, France, on 6 and 7 November, with optional extra workshops on 8 November. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet with, learn from and be part of the global Uniface community.
Registration details will follow in the next few months.
