Czech Post builds highly scalable tenders portal thanks to Compuware

In addition to its traditional role as the carrier of the nation’s postal communications, Czech Post is responsible for maintaining an online bulletin board advertising public tenders. When the laws pertaining to public tenders changed in 2004, Czech Post had to re-build this online portal to accommodate much more data and greater numbers of users. To ensure that there would be no performance issues with the finalised system, it used Compuware automated software quality tools from the outset to test and optimise the scalability of the portal – saving time and money by doing the testing during the development process.  The tools proved so successful that Czech Post is now also using them to test and optimise its main website.
