Swedish universities gear up for the modern era with Uniface

With the world of academia increasingly being run along business-like lines, the Swedish higher education sector realised it needed new applications to cope with the demands of the modern age. The 40 institutions that together develop and run the country’s higher education administrative system, LADOK, chose to rewrite the legacy applications in Uniface. In doing so, they have not only ensured smoother running of business processes and easier reporting to the Government, but they have also created a flexible platform that will easily be able to accommodate future changes in business processes and requirements.
