More than half of Europe’s IT directors believe that there is a 50% or higher chance that a new application will fail on go-live, according to a new survey conducted by Compuware. Unexpected performance problems on go-live were revealed to be commonplace, with 54% of respondents admitting to issues that often led to late delivery, inability to meet users’ expectations, budget overspends and negative effects on existing systems and services.
